Michael offered a unique experience being both an architect and realtor. He was able to guide me through the pitfalls of purchasing an older home, showing potential issues only someone with knowledge of the building process would notice. He helped select areas that met my criteria and showed great patience in taking me to a number of houses before finding the right fit. As a final bonus, his negotiating prowess resulted in me getting the home below market value with a new roof and sewer line included. I have recommended him to several individuals since and will continue to use him as my agent moving forward.
Michael is FANTASTIC. He's always in your corner and makes you feel like his only client. He fought for us on a number of properties. Michael's a licensed architect, so he understands the structural, pragmatic and aesthetic elements are involved in buying/selling a house. He's not pushy and his patience is unmatched. He did a very good job at not telling us "no," so we were able to explore ALL of our options (at the expense of all his weekends). I will continue to sing Michael's praises; he made our home-buying experience an absolute breeze.
Michael was amazingly helpful through the entire process. This was our first home purchase, and Michael was able to find my fiance and I the perfect house in our price range in a great neighborhood. He was able to negotiate the price to below asking, in a market where everything else was selling at 10% or more above the asking price. He is also very well versed in building codes and practices. He would recognize many potential pitfalls on a house without us wasting time and money on home inspectors and frivolous offers (Before we found Michael, we spent some time with other agents who didn't know anything about what to look for structurally/electrically/mechanically). He also knew all of the obstacles and steps involved with the purchase and walked us through all of them very patiently. Michael clearly wanted the best for us and wanted us to be happy with our purchase for many years. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Michael and certainly hope to do all of our future real estate transactions with him on our side.
As a first time home buyer, Michael was incredibly helpful through the entire process of understanding how to qualify for a home, what was in my price range, all the way to negotiating bids and finally closing. He has stellar negotiating skills and was always immediately responsive with questions and next steps.
I met Michael as a member of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. He immediately struck me as being very down to earth, friendly and no-nonsense which I found highly appealing. As part of being a chamber member we're allowed to provide presentations to our peers and when Mike gave his he has a very impressive background in many aspects of realty, seemingly in both the property and finance side. Having got to know him, we discussed the sale of a property we owned in another state and the difficulties we were having. Mike shared his knowledge, contacts and time in both realty and financing to help get the deal done, with zero upside for him since he can't practice in that state. He went out of his way to do research and to call me offering very helpful advice. It made sense to approach him to help with our purchases of rentals and sure enough, we've been out with Mike a number of times to review properties and have seen at least one good property on every trip out. We've now closed four properties with Mike and each time I have absolute faith Mike is on top of the whole process from beginning to end, providing a heads up on what documentation needs to be completed and when. It's unusual to find someone as personable, knowledgeable and detail oriented as Mike. He's a textbook case of an individual who is successful because they want to be the best at what they do. Thanks Mike.
